Kentucky Bourbon Glazed Pork Chops
w/ Mashed Taters
lg. Pkg Bonelesss pork chops, about 1/2 inch thick
I don't usually measure out things in a recipe, just eyeball it
For the glaze you'll need
Makers Mark Bourbon whiskey
Dark brown sugar
garlic powder
onion powder
Mix ingredients well until the brown sugar is mostly disolved, set aside
Preheat oven to 350*F
Season the pork chops lightly on both sides with salt and pepper
Sear chops on a VERY HOT pan on the stove top about 4 minutes on each side
Transfer chops to a foil lined baking sheet and brush generously with glaze
Finish off the chops in the oven for 15 minutes
Serve with mashed potatoes
